&maroon 5: the band;
Maroon 5 is composed of singer-guitarist Adam Levine (who, according to some women, is the sexiest man alive), guitarist James Valentine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Maden, and drummer Matt Flynn (who replaced Ryan Dusick). The rock band was formed in 1999, and in 2002 recorded the would-be platinum album Songs About Jane (but which wouldn't make it to the charts until 2004). The group shot to fame with the hit singles "Harder to Breathe" (their first) and "This Love." Their other hits include "She Will Be Loved," "Sunday Morning," "Makes Me Wonder," "Wake Up Call" and "Won't Go Home Without You."
